| Birds of Paradise is a development of detached villas in Psevdhas (Psevdas), each with either three or four bedrooms. Each villa has an en-suite shower in the master bedroom, while two separate bathrooms serve the rest of the house. The ground floors have huge sitting rooms, kitchen and dining rooms, a big veranda with a view of the forest or the beautiful village, and there is a covered garage. The outside of the villa is partially coated with stone from the surrounding area.
Located in a shallow valley surrounded by hills and small mountains, only 10 minutes from Larnaca, Psevdhas is a small community yet self sufficient and successful in meeting day-to-day needs. A chain of supermarkets, local coffee shops and restaurants along with public services (police station, post offices, banks, churches, and regularly visiting doctors) and communal projects such as youth centres, libraries, swimming pools and parks, have established a tight relationship between the villages of this area, and relevant independence from the cities. |
