| Forest Cottages is a development in Lythrodontas of two storey detached houses, only 10 minutes from Larnaca. There is an en-suite shower in the master bedroom while two separate bathrooms serve the rest of the house. The ground floor has huge sitting rooms, kitchen and dining rooms, a big veranda with a view of the forest or the beautiful village, and there is a covered garage. The outside of the villa is partially coated with stone from the surrounding area.
Lythrodontas is well-known for its olive groves and the scenery around Lythrodontas is rich in wild vegetation, mostly pine trees and thyme. It is also rich in cultivations of citrus and other type of fruit, vines, vegetables, pulses, walnuts and grain. Characteristic features of the village are the two stone-built dam locks and one of the most interesting sites is the abandoned monastery of Profitis Elias. |
