The Cyprus Tourist Organisation aims to have another 14 golf courses up and running in the next few years

--- It's no secret that Cyprus is fast becoming recognised as a golfing resort in the Eastern Mediterranean and awareness of this can only increase as Cyprus is set to have another 14 modern golf clubs built within the next few years.

The Cyprus Tourist Organisation (CTO) has recently announced that due to increased demand for golf on the island and the increased tourism this has brought that the CTO's chief aim is to now have another 14 courses up and running in the next few years. Investors should note that there are already 30 applications with the planning department from individual investors so once again this demonstrates the boom that Cyprus is currently going through and it should also be noted that with the joining of the Euro set for 2007/2008 there is likely to be property price increases as with so many countries before.
